If you're like me, you LOVE to sing! I grew up singing in the church. From solos, to choirs, to singing in small groups - I did it all and I miss it! There's one problem - I am out of practice and need to get back. This group is for people who are passionate about singing but don't have an outlet to sing in. We'll get together regularly to practice group songs and solos. We'll cover clean music from Jazz to gospel. Need to practice a song for an upcoming event? The group will listen and crit …
Women's a capella community chorus. We are a group of women of all ages who like to sing. It's not necessary to read music - we assist in learning the music. We sing throughout our community, i.e. arts festivals, seniors dinners, birthday/holiday parties. We love to have visitors! Check us out at www.AtlantaHarmonyCelebration.org. Although we rehearse in a church, we are neither religiously nor politically affiliated. We do sing some gospel tunes because they are part of the barbershop heritage, …

I'm not looking for people that work in film, there is another group for that! I'm not looking for editors, lighting, make up etc. This is solely for performers. Those that thrive on making the audience happy and you will do it at all costs. I would like to focus on the TV medium, but that can make up so many. I am also looking for theater performers!

A place for producers and musicians to share and find our tribe. All levels welcome. Users of ableton, reason, logic, pro tools, native instruments, etc. We'll come together to share live and studio technique as well as perform and find inspiration. I have no plan and that's my plan.
The songwriters' club is a bit like an open mic with a few key differences. This group exists for songwriter's who would actually like to interact with other songwriters. It is similar to an open mic, but with the added benefit of discussion. Basically, you come in and sign a sheet saying what song of yours you would like to play. When you get up to play, you will tell us all if you are interested in receiving feedback on the song or not. If you are interested then after you play we will all dis …

The practice originated in India millennia ago, but has been popularized in the West by singers such as Krishna Das, Jai Uttal, Wah!, Dave Stringer, Deva Premal, Bhagavan Das, David Newman (Durga Das), etc. This list will be a place to share information abo …
