We are musicians, songwriters and singers who meet to share songs, discuss, give and get feedback, collaborate, perform and record songs. We also play at open mikes, various gigs, improvise in jam band fashion, parties and benefits. The Boston Minstrel group envisions a world where interactive singing inspires healing, harmony and hope. For 21 years we have been bringing the transformative power of music to people living in shelters and prisons in the greater Boston area. Social gathering for intermediate to advanced amateur acoustic instrument players over the age of fifty(or close enough), that meets weekly at Nantasket Beach to play a few dozen songs (as posted and in our lyric/chord book).
